Sollicitations Novembre 2013 : DC Comics

Et voici les sollicitations DC Comics pour le mois de novembre prochain ! des sollicitations qui m’ont fait explosé de rire quand je les ai vu. Non pas que le contenu des titres incitent à la joie et la bonne humeur, rassurez vous cela reste sinistrement sombre et déprimant. Non ce n’est pas la raison. La vraie raison est que techniquement en novembre l’univers DC est censé être toujours secoué par le crossover « de la mort qui tue qui va tout changer à jamais jusqu’au prochain à moins qu’on re re relaunch encore une fois ». Je dis techniquement, car il faut avoir l’œil avisé et savoir ce qu’on cherche pour trouver Vilains United et les titres Justice League vu qu’ils sont noyés dans les ties in à Year Zero…

Ahhh qu’il est loin le temps, quelques mois, où Scott Snyder nous disait encore naïvement et la main sur le cœur que cette fois son arc sur Batman ne ferait pas l’objet de ties in, comme l’avaient été les arcs Night of the owls et Death of the Family… Bien entendu entre temps est entrée en ligne de compte la logique commerciale de DC qui y a vu une occasion en or de se faire des couilles dans le fameux métal précieux sus mentionné …De fait nous arrivons donc à la situation hilarante où le méga crossover DC de cette année n’est point neutralisé ou concurrencé par les multiples crossovers Marvel (Infinity, Battle of the Atom), que neu neu, mes bons amis, DC vient d’inventer sous nos yeux ébahis : le « on coule notre propre crossover en lançant un event parallèle qui noie complètement le marché… ».

Plus que tout autre cette situation est le dernier symbole en date de la perte d’influence de Geoff Johns chez DC, qui n’est plus le roi incontesté de la boîte, au profit de Scott Snyder. Le premier clou dans le cercueil est bien planté depuis un bon moment, depuis que Batman surclasse de loin tous les titres Justice League en termes de ventes . Le second clou, on l’a vu le mois dernier avec les chiffres de ventes de juillet, qui ont clairement démontré un changement d’axe au profit de Snyder. Ainsi le commencement de Trinity war n’a pas vu une augmentation importante des ventes tant de Justice League que de Justice League of America, seul JL Dark a vraiment fait un bon. Dans le même temps, Snyder avec son Superman Unchained et son Batman trustait tranquillement la première et seconde place du classement avec un écart de ventes plus que sensible.

Oh ne vous méprenez pas, le roi n’est pas mort et son influence va régner encore longtemps mais une chose est sûre : le roi est nu. Il est difficile de penser autrement alors que les tie ins de Vilains united sont complètement écrasés par ceux de Year Zero, qui sont présents dans pratiquement toutes les franchises de l’éditeur.  A ce titre on peut se demander ce qu’un event Batman vient foutre dans Green Lantern Corps,  dans Flash, Green Arrow ou encore Superman !!!

Bref, je pense que l’on peut remercier DC pour cette franche partie de rigolade et prévoyez des boites de mouchoirs car c’est  pas fini…

  1. Putain mail quel foutage de g…. ! Merci sam de décrypter tout ça pour nous, tu viens de me faire économiser des euros pour novembre !

    • D’un autre côté les héros semblent disparus pendant Forever Evil. Zero Year, c’est un prétexte pour coller un flashback sur eux et en parler quand même. J’ai vu beaucoup de gens se plaindre qu’il n’y avait pas de sollicitations sur leur héros à cause des vilains. Ça régle le problème. Et puis 52 histoires de vilains pendant plusieurs mois, ça piquerai quand même.
      Pour moi c’est une bonne alternative.
